Obituary for Coleman Lee Gibbs

Coleman Lee Gibbs, 64, of Richmond, passed away Saturday, December 29, 2018 at UK Chandler Medical Center.
Coleman, the son of the late Millard Gibbs and Frieda McIntosh Gibbs, was born in Madison County on April 1, 1954. He worked for Price-Coomer Relocation Services. He loved to fish, play billiards, watch Westerns and spend time with his three dogs.
Most importantly, he came to know the Lord by the influence of a dear friend.
On February 14, 2003, Coleman was united in marriage to Willa Faye McQueen Gibbs who survives.
He is also survived by four sons, of whom he was very proud, William Lee Lawson, Coleman McDowell “Petey” Gibbs both of Richmond, Leighton Napier of Manchester and Corey Lee Reynolds of Columbia, SC; his granddaughter: Summer Gibbs; one half brother Dean Perkins and his best friend: John Andrew Coffey.
Coleman was also preceded in death by three brothers: Archie, Arthur and Ebb Carlo Gibbs and four sisters: Cordellia Agee, Helen Gibbs, Dora Oliver and Mildred Cain.
A Graveside Service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Thursday, January 3, 2019 at the Flatwoods Cemetery in Waco with Pastor Billy Peel officiating.
Visitation will be from 6:00 – 9:00 PM Wednesday at Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home.
